Had some fun with this piece
it's just colored pencils and a but of oil on Rives toned BFK paper
Had to do some digital work on it, had to make the top larger for the logo, so a lot of cut and pasting
I do dig the background though kinda spontaneous.
It's the cover for a gamer convention book (RPG) that's happening this weekend in Atlanta....That's about all I know, ha

Finally got the poster done

I was super inspired by all the old posters/news papers in the late 1800's through the 30's. I'm sure a lot of the type is not period based but come on give me a break, I'm an illustrator...

This is a piece I did for the cover to issue#3 (JONES EDITION) of Vampirella.
I was pretty excited to do a piece for such an awesome character, I look forward to doing more!!
I've been in this weird border phase recently, probably due to a mix of James Jean's fable covers and my obsession with Alphonse Mucha
If I do another one, I want to make it super Lowbrow and retro...

This is the shirt design I was working on all yesterday and today. It was really fun finding those goofy fonts and applying them in a cool way.
